going to see Dr matumoto he's uh he's

going to check my prostate I'm not

looking forward to it because it's my

it's back there all right let's see what

happens I'm really not looking forward

to this I can't believe I'm in a

hospital and what if they find something

what if they find something then what I

can't believe I'm doing this I don't

even know what prostate is I don't even

know where it is I don't even know if it

hurts what if it hurts he does this and

that drain the kidney the bladder the

prostate where's the prostate exactly

a walnut shaped organ that's found

between the bladder and the penis the

prostate examination is done through the

rectum because it's immediately adjacent

or right beside the rectum so that's

just right inside the anus you can

actually feel the prostate right there

how many fingers do you use this this is

the one that goes it's only one it's

one this is for a second

opinion so who should be getting a

prostatic exam men over the age of 50

okay uh with at least a 10-year life

expectancy uh should discuss getting a

PSA and a digital examination with their

family doctor uh and that should be done

on a yearly basis oh my God every year

that's what's recommended yes and and if

if there's a family history your risk is

higher as well so for that reason they

they recommend starting at an earlier

age so on average we suggest starting at

Age 4 do you mind be my
